These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AI Minute Note: Smart Notebook application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the Service.

1. Description of the Service

AI Minute Note: Smart Notebook is an AI-powered note-taking and summarization application that allows users to:

• Record audio notes
• Upload audio or document files
• Convert speech into text
• Generate AI-powered summaries and structured notes

The Service uses artificial intelligence technologies to process user content and generate summaries and insights.

2. Account and Login

Certain features of the Service may require users to sign in using supported authentication methods such as:

• Sign in with Apple
• Google Sign-In

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and current information when accessing the Service.

3. User Content

3.1 Content You Provide

When using the Service, you may upload or submit content including but not limited to:

• Audio recordings
• Files
• Text inputs

("User Content")

You retain ownership of your User Content.

By submitting content, you grant the Service a limited license to process, store, and analyze your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You confirm that:

• You have the legal right to upload the content
• Your content does not violate the rights of any third party

3.2 AI Generated Content

The Service generates summaries, notes, and other outputs using artificial intelligence technologies.

You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated results may not always be accurate or complete
• Generated content is provided for informational purposes only
• AI output should not be considered professional advice

Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated results before relying on them.

4. Third-Party Services

To provide certain features, the Service integrates third-party technologies including:

• AssemblyAI for speech-to-text transcription
• Google Gemini AI models for AI-powered summarization and analysis
• Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In for authentication services

Your content may be transmitted to these services solely for the purpose of providing functionality.

These third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the Service
• Use automated tools such as bots or scripts to access the Service
• Share or resell access to the Service
• Use the Service for unlawful purposes

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your access.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Subscription Plans

AI Minute Note: Smart Notebook offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock premium features.

Available plans may include:

• Weekly Subscription — $9.99 per week
• Yearly Subscription — $99.99 per year after a 3-day free trial

Prices may vary depending on your region and will be shown in the App Store before purchase.

6.2 Billing and Auto-Renewal

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account when the purchase is confirmed.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.

6.3 Free Trial

Certain subscription plans may include a 3-day free trial.

If you do not cancel the subscription before the trial period ends, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.

Any unused portion of a free trial period may be forfeited if a subscription is purchased.

6.4 Refunds

All purchases and subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store.

Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights related to the Service, including software, algorithms, design, and branding, are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Service without permission.

8. Service Availability

The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

There is no guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

The Service may be modified or discontinued at any time.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".

We do not guarantee that:

• AI transcription or summaries will be fully accurate
• the Service will always be available
• the results will meet your expectations

Use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service will not be liable for:

• inaccuracies in AI-generated content
• loss of user data
• service interruptions
• indirect or consequential damages

11. Termination

Access to the Service may be suspended or terminated if:

• you violate these Terms
• you engage in abusive or illegal activity

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
